Which exam board or specification is right for me?

The majority of state schools and colleges in England and Wales offer GCSE and/or A Levels. Some private schools offer IGCSE and IA Levels. As a private candidate, for example if you are home educated, you will probably need to take the IGCSE unless you can come to an arrangement with a school or college. This is because there are components of the GCSE that need to be assessed by the school or college. IGCSE English has a pathway that can be taken without the need of internal assessment by a registered centre. The same applies to the International A Level courses. IGCSEs and I A Levels are recognised by colleges and universities in the UK and beyond.

During our initial Skype, we can discuss the different exam boards and specifications available to you.
